Quick answer: the cheapest weight loss pill price in the UK right now is £90 for a month of Foundayo 0.8mg at IQ Doctor, and £97.99 for a month of the Wegovy pill 1.5mg at Zava. At the highest doses, the cheapest prices we found are £143.99 for Foundayo 17.2mg and £169 for the Wegovy pill 25mg, both at Cuva Health.

What we checked
Two GLP-1 weight loss pills are licensed in the UK and sold privately:
- The Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide) from Novo Nordisk, licensed by the MHRA in June 2026. It comes in 1.5mg, 4mg, 9mg and 25mg tablets.
- Foundayo (orforglipron) from Eli Lilly, licensed in August 2026. It comes in 0.8mg, 2.5mg, 5.5mg, 9mg, 14.5mg and 17.2mg tablets.
We checked the price of a 30-tablet pack (one month) at every dose on the websites of the 22 providers we compare. 17 of them publish Wegovy pill prices and 14 publish Foundayo prices. We record the standard price a new patient pays for one month, before first-order discount codes. Where a provider only sells on a monthly plan, we use the rolling monthly plan price.

The Wegovy pill steps up one dose a month: 1.5mg in month one, 4mg in month two, 9mg in month three and 25mg from month four. Most people spend most of their treatment on 25mg, so the 25mg price matters far more than the starter price. The gap between the cheapest and dearest 25mg price is £100 a month.

Foundayo has six strengths. You start on 0.8mg and your prescriber moves you up no faster than one step a month, so it takes at least five months to reach 17.2mg. Many people stay on a middle dose if it's working for them.
Cuva Health charges one flat price, £94.99, for every dose from 0.8mg to 9mg, which makes it the cheapest Foundayo provider at five of the six doses. Its Foundayo page currently describes orders as pre-orders, so check the delivery date before you pay.

At the cheapest providers, the Wegovy pill costs about the same as the Wegovy injection, and Foundayo is the cheapest GLP-1 at its top dose. Mounjaro is still the most expensive, but it also has the highest average weight loss. Compare live injection prices on our Wegovy and Mounjaro pages.
Five things that change what you actually pay
1. Your dose, not the headline price. "From £X" almost always means the starter dose. Look at the price of the dose you'll be on in month four and beyond.
2. Subscription and long-plan prices. CheqUp and Juniper charge £20 a month less on 6-month plans, and Second Nature £25 less on a 12-month plan. These save money if you stay on treatment, but check the cancellation terms before you commit.
3. First-order discounts. Many providers take £20 to £60 off your first month. That's worth having, but it only applies once, so compare the standard price.
4. Sale prices. Zava currently has £8 to £19 off its listed Foundayo prices, and Click2Pharmacy £10 off its Wegovy pill prices. Our tables show the standard listed price. You may pay less while a sale runs.
5. What's included. Programme-style providers such as Second Nature, CheqUp and Juniper cost more but include coaching, dietitian support or an app. Pharmacies such as Medino, Zava and IQ Doctor are cheaper but mostly supply the medicine with clinical check-ins. Delivery is usually free or a few pounds, and pills don't need a fridge, so there's no cold-chain delivery charge. Most providers include the consultation in the price, but check before you pay.
